Orange Grove is a large fifth generation farm located in the heart of the Great Karoo, South Africa. It falls within the footprint of the unique biome which is protected by the 'Mountain Zebra Cambedoo Corridor Project' - a partnership between the Wilderness Foundation, South African National Parks and conservation minded private landowners.
The landscape of Orange Grove is breathtaking - deep valleys, mountains and endless skies. Our various hikes, horse trails and day trips accentuate the best the Karoo has to offer - San game sightings, rare fossils and solitude. Our cattle, goats and game graze free range on our land.
The portion of arable land is cultivated to Pomegranates and Garlic which is fed by perennial springs and nourished with our own cattle manure. Grown naturally and free from pesticides. We are one of a few farms that offer seed garlic, braids and table stock garlic through mail order and local sales. All of our garlic and pomegranates are hand planted, hand weeded and hand harvested so you are assured of the finest product.
